some questions about Cologne

Hi I'm Lorenzo from Italy, next year I will come to study in Cologne in Kisd
and I have some question about it.

-when will be available the courses programs for next year, and when is the
last day to make the choice.

-Can I have some advices for finding the flat in Cologne, when I should come
there, some useful sites you can suggest me...my idea was to come in Cologne
the first week of august, is it ok? is the university open?
