Hostel arrangements have finally be set for students who needed hostel accommodation. Students will be expected to pay the hostel for the accommodation ON ARRIVAL. Please make sure you have enough money with you before arriving at the hostel!

The Glasgow School of Art has arranged a subsidy of £30 per person. How much you pay in total depends on how many nights you are booked for. The following is a rough guide to what you will be expected to pay.
3 Nights: £22.50 total (equivalent to £7.50 per night)
4 Nights: £40.00 total (equivalent to £10.00 per night)
6 Nights: £75.00 total (equivalent to £12.50 per night)
7 Nights: £92.50 total (equivalent to £13.21 per night)

How's it going to work with the £30? Are we paying full price, then they're given back to us, or...?

I would arrive on the 10th, would I have a "granted" accommodation for that night, or would I have to contact the hostel by myself for it?
Hello Arlon,
You are only booked for the 11th - 16th (inclusive). I am not sure what you will do for the 10th. You will be paying the hostel directly and the hostel will deduct the £30 from your full price.

Hey Arlon,
You are probably best contacting the Hostel if you need a room for the Saturday night. I have just checked, and there are some MEDes Students arriving on the Saturday also staying in the hostel. Let us know what goes on, and if you need any further help.

I'll also be arriving on the 10th. I've just emailed the Hostel and incase of any problems, I'll let you guys know.
