The NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement supports the NHS to transform healthcare for patients and the public by rapidly developing and spreading new ways of working, new technology and world class leadership.
We are looking for an Associate to join us to lead on the observation component of the innovation process. You will be carrying out observation work, testing new approaches as well as ensuring the capability of the wider NHS Institute teams. You will also be supporting the teams in the use of the innovation process in general, specifically in ideas generation, concept development and knowledge product and service prototyping.
Educated to Masters degree or equivalent level/experience in a discipline related to design, ethnography or innovation, you will have significant experience of observation and innovation. You will also have extensive experience in the training and development of others in tools and techniques relating to ethnography or innovation process. You must have highly developed specialist knowledge and expertise in the field of improvement, creativity and an understanding and experience of transformational change and innovation in work processes.
