JOB OPPORTUNITY
MEDes Communication Coordinator
As presented on the Stuttgart workshop, the MEDes board offers, a one-year post for a MEDes Student that has already finished his/her second year abroad.
The Communicator will continue the work on the MEDes communication, seek fundings and create projects around the MEDes presence to the public.
The most important steps to make the MEDes more visible are done with the completion of the book and the launch of the website.
Now the focus will be distributing the material, organising an exhibition to show the programme and student profiles. Finding partners and fostering joint projects, workshops etc. At the EU-Level, research in funding programmes will be needed.
Furthermore the Communication Coordinator will deepen the relations between the partners and support the preparation of the Board Meeting in Valencia in October 2009 and the Workshop in Milan in spring 2010.
All partner institutions comitted in supporting the position financially on project basis.
A working structure /office exists already in Cologne, yet the position is not tied to a certain place.
The salary will be on the basis of a part time 400-600 Euro/month job, an office and the full working infrastructure will be provided, by the hosting institution.
The work will start in September 2009 - so this is a good bridge for the final master year beginning in summer 2010.
Working in this position for more than 6 month now helped me to understand the strength of MEDes better.
For me it was a great opportunity to work on several communication projects, deepen organisational skills, take part in the development of the programme and shape my personal profile within this structure.
Please submit your application to your respective MEDes Coordinator,
or email to medes@kisd.de until June 2009.
We look forward to your applications!
Do not hesitate to contact me in case of any further questions.
All the best from Cologne
