What clothes should I pack?

If you are wondering what the weather is going to be like in Glasgow
so you know what to pack, it is always going to be colder/wetter/
sunnier/dryer/windier/cloudier/warmer than you expect and the clothes
you bring will always be too light/too heavy/not waterproof/useless/
too little/too much and despite all which, the locals will always be
wearing less clothes than you, especially on a Saturday night.
